Our Mission, Vision & Objectives of PCMF

Mission

To bring men to Christ and nurture them to become spiritually mature, responsible leaders in the church, family, and society.

Vision

To build a fellowship of Christian men who are faithful, disciplined, and committed to transforming lives through the Gospel.

Objectives of PCMF
  • To grow in faith through regular fellowship, Bible study, and prayer.
  • To encourage men to live exemplary Christian lives in their homes, churches, and communities.
  • To support the mission and development of the church.
  • To mentor boys and younger men in the church.
  • To strengthen family life through guidance and Christian leadership.

Structure and Leadership

PCMF is structured to work in harmony with the PCEA church governance. The fellowship operates at different levels:

  • District PCMF
  • Parish PCMF
  • Presbytery PCMF
  • Regional PCMF
  • National PCMF

Each level has a leadership team consisting of Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, Organizing Secretary & Patron (Elder)

Membership Process

Stage Description
Admission Entry into the fellowship through registration and orientation.
Dedication Spiritual commitment to PCMF after regular attendance and preliminary training.
Commissioning Formal recognition and commissioning by the church.

Expectations of a PCMF Member

  • Attend fellowship meetings regularly.
  • Engage in Bible study and spiritual growth.
  • Support church and PCMF programs actively.
  • Serve in your family, church, and community with integrity.
  • Participate in mission and outreach activities.
  • Be a role model to boys and young men.
  • Wear the PCMF uniform with honor and understanding.

Training Before Commissioning

Before commissioning, each member must undergo foundational training covering:

  • Understanding PCMF: History, purpose, and roles
  • Christian doctrine and values
  • Stewardship and service
  • Family and community responsibilities
  • PCEA structure and constitution
  • Evangelism and discipleship

Uniform and Identity

Once commissioned, members are expected to have PCMF regalia, including:

  • Badge (At Dedication)
  • Tie (Commissioning)
  • Coat (Commissioning)
  • Official White Shirt or Attire

These are symbols of commitment and service, and should be worn with respect, especially during PCMF or church events.
