Presbyterian Church Men’s Fellowship (PCMF)
The Presbyterian Church Men’s Fellowship (PCMF) is a ministry within the Presbyterian Church of East Africa (PCEA), dedicated to nurturing men spiritually, socially, and morally, encouraging them to live out their faith in their families, church, and communities.
Joining PCMF is a structured journey involving admission, dedication, and commissioning. Every new member is guided through a clear and spiritually enriching process aimed at grounding them in faith, responsibility, and fellowship.

Steps to Membership
A. Admission
Admission marks the formal start of one's journey into PCMF.
Requirements:- Be a baptized male member of PCEA.
- Express desire to join PCMF voluntarily.
- Submit a written application or register through your district PCMF representative.
- Attend an introductory orientation session about the PCMF mission, vision, structure, and expectations.
B. Dedication
Dedication is a spiritual commitment made before God and the church community.
Before dedication, the following must be completed:- Attend at least 3–6 months of PCMF fellowship meetings regularly.
- Undergo foundational PCMF training as outlined below.
- Participate in church activities and support PCMF initiatives.
Training Requirements Before Commissioning
To ensure spiritual growth and readiness for service, every new PCMF member must undergo structured training.
Core Training Modules:- Understanding the PCMF: History and purpose, Structure, and roles.
- Christian Foundations: Salvation, Daily devotion, Sacraments.
- Stewardship and Service: Giving, service, work discipline.
- Family and Community Life: Leadership at home, Community responsibility.
- Church Doctrine and Governance: Presbyterianism and worship order.
- Mission and Evangelism: Role in outreach and spreading the Gospel
Commissioning
After successful training, dedication, and consistent participation, members are commissioned during a special church service.
Requirements for commissioning:- Completion of all required PCMF training modules
- Participation in parish/region PCMF activities for at least 6–12 months
- Recommended by the PCMF leadership and parish minister
- Willingness to uphold PCMF values and serve actively
- Public acknowledgment before the congregation
- Commitment vows
- Issuance of PCMF regalia (tie, badge, etc.)
- Blessing and official inclusion as a full PCMF member District PCMF
Post-Commissioning Expectations
- Attend meetings and fellowships faithfully
- Participate in church growth and mission
- Mentor younger men and support youth ministry
- Uphold Christian values in personal and public life
- Represent PCMF in district and parish activities
